Playing videos on a tablet.

I have a friend who bought a "Jazz tablet" and it won't play a video she got in an email. I have no idea about tablets so I need to know if they all are capable of playing all videos, or you need a certain app. I will let you guys know the type of video once she tells me.

Some tablets need a codec to play videos. Have them download MX Player from the play store.
