By the way, I live in UK.

I am engineer and I will have to run a lot of program. I want a fast and reliable one. Which one of above is better in term of spec? Please advice. Or if you have any other good alternative please let me know that laptop model. My budget is about £800.

I personally wouldn't recommend buying a new computer off of eBay, especially one that expensive. It may say "3 year warranty", but the fact is that after the 90 day period in which you can file a complaint through eBay/PayPal passes, most sellers aren't going to stand behind their warranties.

What about comparing these two laptop spec. Which one is better.
 
For quality builds the Thinkpad by far. But the one you linked to is now their discontinued model replaced by the T420.
