Im helping a friend build his actual pc but Il leave the parts chosing to the experts here.

The budget is $800 - $1000 Canadian excluding taxes and shipping.

It's gotta be an Intel based system, he wants vista as well.

This pc is gonna be used for gaming and some multi tasking.

Example of games gonna be played : Counterstrike source, Crysis and other shooting games.

Example of some light multitasking : browsing the net while burning a dvd or two while downloading a game demo while say watching movie or video game trailers here and there.

He wants it to be DX10.

Alright folks build the best possible system for this amount of money.

Btw it can't exceed 1000$ canadian.

VAT= value added taxed. currently 17.5% on top of everying to UK gov. £74.23 is the final price customer need to pay.
Anyway, this guys is from Canada, I think. Are you post in the wrong thread?
