Please can someone hep me - what leads do I need for this monitor?

Hi everyone :) I'm buying this monitor off eBay for my first build, and I wish to play my games on 1080p hd and this monitor also has built in speakers and I would like to use these to

It does not come with any cables except the power cable I think,

Is the power cable a standard monitor cable like normal computers please? and also will this run off a hdmi cable? or will I need a different cable, and I don't think sound comes through hdmi?

Please can you help me with what cables I will need for 1080p picture and the sound through the monitor, please?

I am not sure if it is a standard on monitor power cables. I know my Dell monitor uses the same power lead that my power supply uses.

As for cable, DVI if you want picture, HDMI if you want sound with that picture. They are the same quality, just HDMI carries sound.
 
Thank you both for your answers! :) that's fantastic thanks :) I will just need a cable for sound I think, but I have a spare hdmi somewhere in my home :) do you think this monitor is a good one?
