please comment on these used computers

Hi, I am looking for something used to put Ubuntu on and to just have to mess around with. I found these on craigslist. Let me know what you think please.
There are 2 near the middle of the webpage.

why not just dual boot xp or vista which ever u have on ur current pc with ubuntu

yea, i had that before, i've tried all sorts of configurations...xp/vista/ubuntu/suse in several diff ways.

its just that my laptop, though 2 yrs old, is running so smoothly now, with xp. quite noticeably better than w/ vista. i kinda want something to tinker with without jeopardizing my laptop. i cant afford anther, thats for sure.

yea, i understand i cant see why u would have to buy a laptop if u mess up ubuntu lol either i understand. when i get my laptop im gunna have prolly vista and Ubuntu but ill be using ubuntu primarily
