Okay, I have an Asus P5KPL-CM mobo and I was looking at upgrading the CPU. The particular CPU I was looking at was the Pentium Dual Core E5200 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116072)

On the CPU Support list on the Asus website, it says that CPU is supported Since PCB 2.10G and since Bios 0606 (http://support.asus.com.tw/cpusuppo... &SLanguage=en-us). The Bios I am fine with, but does the PCB thing mean that if my mobo was made from the older PCB, it will never support the E5200?
If that is the case, how do I determine which PCB version I have? I looked all over the board itself for some sort of indentifying mark, but found nothing.

Thanks!

Look on your motherboard for a revision number. usually it's on one of the corners.

I just looked again, after getting some sleep and found it this time. I do actually have the 2.01G.
But, back to my question.....had I not had the 2.01G, would I never be able to use that CPU, regardless of the updated BIOS? Thanks.
