Yes. it should run it at okay settings fine, if not more, as long as your other system spec's are okay to go along with it.

SO card two has less ram, is only 128bit, but is faster, and has a higher opengl version, and both are DX9 which is GOOD. So which is better can depend on which games your playing. for CS I would think that the second one would be better.

No that XGI Volari V8 is not good for gaming at all. Its more meant for video editing, rendering etc. Go with a 9600PRo or XT. A 9550 would also be good if you overclock it. I can overclock mine to 440/230 safely.

In any case, I think the 9600Pro is a better card at stock, but it may be possible to unlock the 9800SE

Yea i would go for it for $80. Its a decent card. You can OC it to probly 450Mhz/420Mhz with stock cooling with a good cool case. Im not positve though.

Yeh, you can OC it, but the 9800SE has a quad of pipes that can be unlocked

I'd still stick with the 9600Pro, if you're not sure. It's better at stock and there's no guarantee that the 9800SE will unlock
