Please help me choose???

The link didn't work but I think I found the processors you were talking about... They look the same, same Cache, same FSB, both have HT...that's weird. Maybe someone who knows a bit more about intel could tell you if there's some different core or something...

Persaonlly, I almost always get OEM processors just because of the rather crappy fans most retail ones come with. I have no desire to spend the extra cash for the fan I probably will never use. Even if you did get the retail one, I'd suggest getting a better cooler.
 
I heard that tigerdirect.com rips you off, try www.newegg.com, but i would go with the one with the fan, i have a stock heatsink and fan now and it runs great and no heating problems. (still no thermal paste yet) lol
 
No, tiger direct is ok, they are just way slower than newegg. I had to get a printer from them that newegg did not have(and tiger had a good price.)
 
Thanks, i actually did order from Newegg after reading a a handful of reviews saying how much faster Newegg is, and also newegg is cheaper on next day shiping by $21 dollars, and 8 dollars cheaper on the actual product.. I got the one with the fan, because it was 3 dollars cheaper... that way I'll have something untill i can get an aftermarket one... Thanks guys.
