Please help me guys, Windows Display

Ok so I installed WMP11 and it said to restart my machine so I did, after the restart my computer display started in a very low resolution, like it does in safe mode.

So I went to display to change it back to normal and my computer randomly says this:-

"The currently selected graphics driver cannot be used. It was written for a previous version of windows,and is no longer compatible.

The system has been started using the default vga driver.

Please contact hardware manfacturer."

Why would this happen just because I installed WMP11???

I'm using a genuine version of XP. Also system restore doesnt fix the problem.

Please help guys

try reinstalling your graphics driver, i can only guess that the installation process somehow messed with some graphics settings and took the driver out in the process.

did u visit ur graphics card website to check if they hav some patch for the problem.
