I have a old compaq EVO notebook N150. I took the hard disk out and lost the adapter that goes onto the hard drive too connect it back to the lap top.
If anyone can identify what adapter i require, i would be very appreciative

I think that's one of those sled-to-laptop-IDE connectors, they had two 22 pin sides for 44 pins.

Since the system model you indicated was like a Pentium 3 and pre-SATA then it'd make sense.

This URL says $15 but you can probably find it on something like aliexpress for pennies

Thanks for the reply, it is this connector, but the 22 pin female version.

It was on the drive the whole time! so problem sorted.

Next problem, ancient laptop wont boot, no indicatot lights and or fan movement, pushed the reset button.

Maybe the power connector soldered to the pcb is brocken.

ideas welcome to get a pehistoric compaq N150 working
