please help me with da laptop hp!!!

is there anything i can do? i formatted the HDD using a connector and trying to install the operating system but it can't boot from da dvd rom n also from the network, n th USB AS well, have used different bootable cds bt still cant!! what can i do?? please help me??
 
you have log in to the bios, i think you press esk on startup, not sure how the settings go there, but it should be boot up something and you have to chose DVD-ROM...
 
Try removing the electric plug and battery, then try again. This will reset all the equipment in the computer, and clear any errors that it has. You may also want to tell us what brand and model of computer you have.
Also... as there are many international visitors to the forums here, you may want to cut down on the shorthand and use plain, simple english.

its an hp compaq nx6110....please continue posting maybe it can help n also!! i removed da cmos, ram and hdd for a nyt n put them again bt still
 
Does it start at all??
If so, when you power it on, you will need to look quickly at the bottom left of the screen to see what to push to enter the BIOS (Basic Input and Output System). It may very well be ESC, as that is what it is on my HP. Once you are in the BIOS, you will need to find the option of Bootable device. (F9 on mine) and choose that. Then you need to choose your CD drive as the boot device.
Once your in, just follow the on screen directions.

hey. it starts up n then when it ask you to press F10 for DVD option and then when you press it doesnt go anywhere but at sometimes when it wants, it will go and then it gives you option where to boot from, (the boot order) but when you make it or set it to boot from the dvd and then press f10 to save changes and exit..then the screen would jus remain black like it wants to boot but it wont!!! evrything is okey about the laptop apart from booting from the cd, network or jus usb so i can put the operating system!! please am tired of removing the battery and restarting trying to see if it can boot!! help
 
Have you tried another OS (the OS, not the disk) to see if it may be an error on your disk (Hard drive)?
I know you said that you have tried the USB and Network, but I personally have never been able to boot either way on a HP/Compaq.

yes please, have tried another dis but the hard drive!! have got so many different os... what could be the problem?
