Please help me with SpeedFan

I have a dual-core processor on my laptop, and the temps show as "Core0" and "Core1". But with my quad-core desktop, the temps show as "Temp1", "Temp2", "Temp3", and "Core", with Core always being much lower. Anyone know what these readings represent? Since the core is so low, I assume it's not from my CPU.

Also, adjusting the percentages on the fan speeds doesn't change the rpm's of the fans. I'm using the GIGABYTE GA-880GA-UD3H motherboard and can control the CPU fan using EasyTune 6. How do I control case fan speed?

Never liked Speedfan. It will vary depending on the motherboard sensors. Temp1, Temp2 and Temp3 blah blah blah crap. lol

Just use PCWizard it will give you system spec. And a better understandable temp read out.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and Hardware Monitor Pro. Out of the three, I liked HW Monitor Pro the best.
