I am building a new computer for a neighbor for about $700 (including shipping). I've made a list of parts. Please review and give your opinions.
It will be just for casual gaming and internet and such. I need a wireless card also. It would be preferable for it to a bit under $700. Second price is the shipping cost.

that looks good but you should upgrade the processor to a 3200+ and get 1 gb of memory otherwise everything else looks good

if its just casual gaming, then 512mb should be fine, but since your neighbor is only doing casual gaming, i would downgrade to a 9600xt since its less then $100 and it still plays newer games very well.

Does the 3200+ make such a huge difference over the 3000+? I don't think so but please explain why I should get the 3200+ for $50 more? And sorry geoff, can't find a 9600xt for PCI-e...

EDIT: Oh yea, the total cost for the setup I had is $698.65.
I would prefer it lower because the budget amount of $700 could possibly fall lower. Anyone have any better setups?

To AMD64: I got the 512 mb because that's what I have in my brother's comp and it still runs Half Life 2 and CS:Source fine. Remember, I said casual gaming and mostly internet and stuff. Thanks for the reply anyways. :)
