hi er well basically ive got a desktop comp and it has a place where u put the micro-sd card well theres like a space above the actual slot u put it in and ive put it in there and i tried to get it out with tweesers but that pushed it more in should i use a paper-clip instead? i would of tried with it already but i dont have one at the moment. if its possible can someone tell me how i remove the front panel of my comp so i can get easier access? the comp is called acer aspire m3970. thanks!

Ideally take it to someone who knows what their doing and can take it apart and retrieve the card rather than trying to fish it out and possibly damage something.

But yes I learned by trial and error, it has cost a LOT of money but I know a LOT more (not everything) about computers than if I had asked someone else, of course you COULD always learn from someone else doing it for you. In the long run it will save you $ and teach you :)

LMAO! sounds like this is a common problem with Acers

Edit, Not the same model but Acer's and most Pre-Built computers are built generally the same :)

lol so are you saying that acers like stealing peoples memory cards? anyway i cba to take my comp apart cause i dont want to **** something up and if i cant get it out then if i give it to them they proly have some kind of way to tell if its already been opened.

anyway i tried with the paper clip and that didnt work =( and ive decided that i want a new micro-sd card now and i wont be putting it in that slot again lol ill get an adapter for it so it can go in the other slot.

thanks every1 that answered anyway tho :)

they make many externals that work well. Plug into a usb and all mine always worked and they cheap. One i have in the camera case will accommodate 15 different kinds of cards. Just check your local dept store. Camera or and cell phone items. all mine always worked though. usb and internal. usb external is cheap.
