Please help regarding upgrading my CPU for 3d animation purpose

I'm planning to update my CPU for my 3d animation career, So i need your great suggestions. At present i have normal config in my CPU [listed below]. With these config if i open heavy models into my 3d software MAYA and i rotate it or if i try to work on it, the model moves very very slowly. HOW DO I MAKE MY COMP SUPPORT HEAVY MODELS AND RENDER FAST? PLEASE HELP.

System Config:

OS: Windows 7 ultimate
Processor: AMD Sempron
Ram: 2 GB DDR2
Hard Disk: 640 GB
Display: NVIDIA Geforce 1650SE nForce 430
Total available Graphic memory: 799 MB
Dedicated video memory: 64 MB

So please write for upgrade my CPU to fast 3d working config.

Your entire setup is very old. A new CPU would probably do very little to reduce the time rendering. You're definitely maxing your RAM, so there's the cheapest fix for a gain in performance.

If you have the money, sell off your old parts, keep the hard drive, and get a 2600k and a pro graphics card, like Bigfella said. Gonna cost you quite a bit of money, though.
 
What is your budget for a new build?

Your old system is really going to hold you back because it is so obsolete. Be sure you keep your old hard drive for your new build. Hard drive prices are expensive now because a hard drive manufacturing plant got destroyed in a flood.
