I just decided to make some backup copies of data (palm desktop, my documents, itunes, ect) on CDRW's. I was unable to burn the data to the CDRW and have done some research. I believe the problem is that I have a Roxio version of software that is not compatible with XP SP2. I only need this drive for backing up programs, ect. What do I do??? Are there any free programs that I can download as I think that this is not a hardware issue (I hope not)!!! Also, supposing that I can get a cd burner program - do I uninstall Roxio first (sorry not all that computer literate). Thanks very much!
