I used Norton Ghost to Image about 15 hard drives for my school. When I tested them on the computer i imaged them on the hard drives worked just fine. When I placed the hard drives on a different computer I got an NTLDR is missing error. The operating system is Windows 2000.

Hard drive that i duplicated works on all computers. I'ves tried to recopy the NTLDR, NT Loader, NT Detect.

Help would be very appreciated.

try to rebuild your boot.ini, there are several threads about it on this forum if you search for them.

Yes, it happened to my friends computer. Go into the repair console and type fixboot and fixmbr. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to wipe ur hard drive.

Yep You Might Have to Wipe It

Yep you will probably have to wipe it. Make sure when you put the hard drive on the computer you want first so theres no hardware issues. Then you can ghost the image back onto the drive.
