Please help the curso on the screen keeps moving it self grrrrr ( it is frustrating)

Have you ever typed messages or typed something out and every 3 to 5 minutes the cursor just moves by it self and goes into the middle of something you already typed out and screws it all up, then you have to move the cursor back to where you left off and it keeps happening over and over. Is it a bug? or spyware? Please help it is really starting to piss me off. :

And the mouse I have is a optical mouse. So not the ball kind.
 
well what i think may be wrong here is depending on the surface that you have your mouse on it will pick up tiny little bumps and cracks say it was just on a wooden bench or something that isnt perfectly smooth. it might look it but it'll pick it up.

i think all i can suggest is a really smooth mouse mat if you can get em or it might be a bug but i dont think.

also welcome to the forums and there is an official welcome thread somewhere.

keep us posted and let us know if you sort it out. also could you gave the make and model of the mouse please.
