PLEASE HELP! Webcam not detected and I am NOT computer savvy AT ALL!!!

The model is HP Pavilion dv6915nr running on vista.

The webcam is not detected. I have gone to their website and have failed dismally in my efforts to fix this.

Apparently it is pretty common, but the solution is very evasive.

It is integrated. It was odd. It has never given me a problem, now it has just vanished. Even from the device manager. HP is horrible, too. Their site tells nothing despite this seeming to be a relatively common issue.
 
Look in the bios to see if maybe it was disabled. Other than that, it seems the webcam has died.
 
If it is integrated, but there is no driver installed, could it be in the generic usb section of device manager? It would just say usb device and have an exclamation mark. Or something to that effect.

However, I am not super knowledgeable with integrated webcams and how they act, so don't hold that to be worth anything.
