Please help!!!

You can easily install a pci type card in one of the two free slots if you have a sound card in the first. Forget Vista completely as far as an OS upgrade.

The older cases for HP, Dell, and others were simply mini towers with many limitations. In fact I was looking at the ATI Radeon 9250 pci model for an old Dell 98/NT model running 98SE on it.

Any pci model will fit into a standard pci type slot like a sound card would. If running an older version of Windows there like 98, 2000, ME you would either use the drivers on the software disk or have to look around for off sites that archive older driver sets.

It's an old system even for XP. You'll find a big change once you upgrade into a new system due to the things you would then be able to do. It's kind of like opening doors for new opportunities once you notice the vast contrast.
