I have a dimension 4600. Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. I don't think I have an AGP slot, but I do have 3 vacant PCI slots. I would like to upgrade my video card. Any advice on what I should be shopping for would be great. I don't know much about VC's; and don't want to over heat by system or anything. The support drivers on Dell's website only had a driver for a nvidia 128MB DDR GeForce 5200. I this the only type of card I can get? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Is this a good one? Pine Technology PV-T34K-NA Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 128MB AGP 8x Graphics Card

I'm pretty much in the same situation, (see my set-up in my signature)
From what I hear, the tiny upgrades we can make, arnt worth it, and in the end would cost about the same amount as just building a new comp yourself.

From what it looks like, your computer will be fairly similar to mine, and i have been told that if i upgrade anything, i need to upgrade my PSU also.

You might be able to get away with a small upgrade, but not much. What will you be doing that needs the upgrade?
