I am using a Toshiba laptop Qosmio G10.
I have not tried recording on to dvd before but husband has just bought me a dvd camcorder with the 8cm mini discs.
I thought I would be able to record these on to a normal size dvd disc as the mini is only 30 minutes.
I can get the images on to the computer via the make a video programme. The problem comes when I try to burn a disc the computer does not seem to recognise that there is a disc there. It constantly asks me to insert media.
Once it said the disc was not compatable.
Also it is very temperamental on playing the 8cm disc. playa ok once downloaded via video camera.
The disc I used was a dvd+RW 4 speed.
I have tried going through the instruction manual, but am not getting anywhere. Maybe I am having a senior moment ( hope you understand y non tech babble)
