Please help

Hiya guys,

I have an annoying problem with my computer that is killing me because I keep losing all my work. I posted on another forum like two weeks ago but turns out it was inactive. I looked for a help forum so then I posted there, then I found this forum so I am hoping someone could give it a shot.

Basically, I'm bluescreening. I have had this error in the past but when I had it in the past it wouldn't bluescreen then start back up and work normally (which its doing now) it would bluescreen and not turn back on, so I would have to take it into the shop (which I can't afford right now and costs a lot for a 16 year old) I've had this problem for a while and I'm really hoping there is a quick fix. My guess of where it could be coming from is that whenever windows boots I get an error saying "Invalid boot.ini, booting from windows" or something like that. It wouldn't be as annoying if I was just on YouTube and Facebook, but I'm a producer and its really annoying losing all your work if you don't save every few minutes.

If you guys could help me fix this I would literally be forever grateful.

Thank you in advance,
Cheers :)

How many hard drives are in your system? If you are bluescreening then please do the following and post the log.

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

My preliminary guess would be a bad hard drive. Have you ran a diagnostic on it yet? What brand is it?

I have one hard drive. Here is the file: http://www.mediafire.com/?bubtmd92w142l0b

Also I haven't ran a diagnostic, I'm not the smartest with computers :$

Well, the good thing is that all your bluescreens point to your sound driver, via high definition audio. Is this a store bought pc or a custom built pc? Would need to know the model of pc if store bought or model number of motherboard if custom built. How often does the invalid boot ini error come up?

Did you take this drive out of another system and just put it in this one?

Custom built, bought it about 2 years ago because I wanted a gaming pc. Since it points there does that mean its something I can fix myself or will I have to take it in? Also, luckily I found my XP home and Pro disks, so if I just reinstall windows will that fix it? My guess is no. How can I tell you the model number of motherboard? I'm sorry for being such a noob. :$

Hiya,

I'm terribly sorry for not posting in so long, I've been a busy man and haven't had time to be on a computer lately. I downloaded Piriform Speccy and this is what it said under the motherboard section:

Model: M3A78

But for some reason I have a feeling this isn't enough information so just to be on a safe side since I might not be able to hop back onto my computer (already annoyed to no end after the 5th bluescreen today :@) I'll post everything in the motherboard section:
