ne ways, yes, have u recently downloaded codecs, maybe new media player, that supports other codecs that r new on ur sys. Ive gotten a few codec packages, plugins, and players that all have caused probs. make sure ur player that u like or prefer to use is set as default, and in ur pref(opt) menu look for plugins, annnnd check other players, disable, unclick tick wipe, nething (FILE FORMATS.EXT) yada yada, that may try to auto play other files that ur prefered player is attempting to play. ...im goin along with software conflict, but could b a hardware as well, check ur system by the touch and smell after a freeze, somethings hott>>?? vid crd, cpu heat sink? could b as well, all else fails...got a blockbuster near u
