is upgrading the motherboard of a 3 years old computer worthwhile? or is buying a new one better? please answer!!

Yep, first off it might be kind of tough to find a replacement mobo, and that could end up leading to buying a whole new case. Replacing pieces like a mobo can get kind of funky. Its been 3 years close enough for a re-build if you can.gateway....i would buy a whole new pc
Ya you may be stuck calling up gateway and seeing if you can get a replacement mobo. If not its a matter of finding out if all of your stuff is compatible.well...now that we know its a fairly new brand of gateway...it would be cheaper to replace the motherboard....the only thing is i've had no experience with gateway but if they are like dell you're upgrading options are very limited even with a new motherboard
