just turned on my computer and its says unable to boot, use recovery console to fix C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\system, what does this mean and what do i do as i dont know how to use cmd prompts in recovery console please help
I would suggest that you have some corrupted files on your hard drive. Put your XP CD in the CD Rom drive. Make it first boot in the BIOS. Enter the Recovery Console. Type in Chkdsk /r. This will check your disk and sometimes fixes this problem.
