Some of my laptop keys do not work (elite book 2760p). I have tried updating drivers, installing new keyboard, reloaded window 10 and I even rolled back to win7 to see if the problem would fix, but unfortunately nothing wrked. Would could be the issue here?

Then its most likely a hardware issue between the keyboard and motherboard, possibly the thin ribbon cable.

Could be interface like the ribbon or controller related, also that laptop is about 10 years old now. Have you opened it up to see if the other side of the ribbon cable on the motherboard is loose at all?

I have a Dell from a similar era with a 2520m and half of the SATA controller shat itself recently.

So just dismantled the laptop, applied thermal paste also and found that my problem isn't resolved. The keyboards (still have the old one) both work fine. The problem appears to be the mb I think?
