I made a couple changes to a build I had previously and I wanna make sure everything will still work with each other before I buy. I am debating getting a 24" LCD monitor or a 32" LCD TV as a screen. Will the screen stretch too bad with a 32" LCD at 13--x7-- resolution?

Pretty good build. You should of got a 10K HDD, but looks like you were going for space rather than speed.

I'd rate this a 9.7. Good build. Any picture of the case?

May change to 10k hdd. I have a 320GB external already for storage I suppose. But I heard 7200RPM WD caviar is very fast.

Definatly get a quality PSU. Either the Corsair one joe mentioned or a OCZ GameXstream, or a quality Antec one.

IMO for 300 dollars you would be better off buying a higher end c2d, there is littler advantage to having a quad core at 2.66 than a c2d at 3.0. Not many things take advantage of 4 cores and most games only utilize one or two. I would save the money.

Only professional applications really take advantage of quad cores, as of now. A year from now I would say spend 300 on a quad core, now. Not so much.
 
I'm already over max budget for one thing. My original target was $2000 and I'm at $2300 after MIR. I'd only save $70-$100 by getting a 2.4 or 2.66ghz dual core. I'm going to have this computer for several years so I think q6600 is a nice way to go.
