Please recommend me NIC card model

Hi guys,

I need 16 NIC ports to support my Cisco lab... My current motherboard is ASUS SABERTOOTH X58. It has:
2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (only one is available. Another is used by Video card)
1 x PCIe x16
2 x PCIe x1
1 x PCI

Is it possible? Can any of you recommend me some models? My computer is running Ubuntu so it has to have the driver for Linux.

It doesn't have to be PCI cards either. It can be USB based as long as it has driver for Linux. I only need 10/100. Thanks!

can't you just get a hub or a switch with 16 ethernet ports in?

Thank you guys for the replies! My simulation software requires at least 12 ports to connect with the real world to run the lab... Hub or switch can't be used.
