Plz i need other advice to choose a laptop from these 2 options or if someone have different laptop suggestion in similar price then plz tell me. i can go little more in terms of price. one of the laptop is refurbished and other is new. plz check.

OK, if that is the case. Try to get core i3 330m if you can. If not, get pentium dual-core, e.g. T4400

You can always go to www.cpubenchmark.net or www.notebookcheck.net to check the benchmark to see which CPU is faster.

No help in picking a specific laptop, but help in picking a brand:
Avoid HP/Compaq, Gateway, and Acer. They have had the worst record
for reliability for the last 2+ years. Asus, Toshiba, and Sony Vaio
have been the best. See below:

I have Compaq laptop for one years ago, Now I have MSI laptop. My experience was good for usage of both laptops. I like to suggest MSI laptop is so much faster than Compaq laptop.
