PNY GTX 260: Audio Port?

I recently became the proud owner of PNY's GTX 260. Upon examination, next to the power connectors, I found rubber-esque, flexible cover, 2/8" square. It had a the universal symbol for audio (generic speaker and audio waves), I removed the cover and it did not have any socket I recognized. The packaging included a cable that clearly goes to it, but the instructions say nothing about it. What is this thing?

So, I read that it's an Internal HDMI Audio Cable, anyone got any ideas as to what this means?

If you ever happen to use a HDMI to DVI converter, you can use that cable to carry the HD sound as well. The cable would connect to the mobo or your soundcard.

Yes, although I think some motherboards also allow connectivity. I'm not sure though.
