PNY GTX 260 for $215

Still not worth it. I might consider a gtx260 with the new 216 core, but it won't be $215.

how is that not worth it? its cheaper then the HD 4870 and is 50/50 on game benches. Dont even tell me that ATI's beta drivers are only releasing a % of the HD4870s power :/

Of course. The real drivers will include black and red candles, a booklet, and catalyst control pentagram. Wait till midnight and follow the booklet and that should give around a 40% increase in the card.

It will also growl at you when you try to sleep.

ATI is really keeping us on our toes.

i see what you did thar

The GTX 260 beats the 4870 in about 50% of apps and games....for a little over $200 it's definitely worth the money;)

I think it's the best price:performance ratio card right now.

With the new 216 core GTX 260s it might hammer the 4870! We'll see when some good solid benchmarks get released:D

At $215 i would get it, only if i was to be looking at a single card solution only.

The ATI 4870 has better power consumption, and with Crossfire, you keep the intel board...

The only problem with the GTX260 is power consumption (more than 4870...)... But at that price ill pick it over any ATI card (for single card solution), as the performance is just below the 4870... but the brice is quite a big drop...
