pny ram and amd

Yes, it will work - I would disregard those QVLs; my motherboard said it didn't support G. Skill RAM and yet, I'm running it fine without any issues and have it OC'ed as well. So you should have no problem!

there are so so many different types of RAM, and RAM is changing and being added to so often it is impossible to list them all. So long as it is with in the settings you can put on your BIOS, ie you can set the frequency and timings to the right speed and the voltages to the correct value, generally it will work just fine. There are a few cases where certain brands or specific lines of memory don't work with certain motherboards, but these are, in the big scheme of things, few and far between.

In short, yes, it will work

yeah this is what i figured but i just wanted to be sure as i heard some guy complaining that it was made for intel boards and therefore wont work on amd which i thought was pretty weird.
thanks again

the guy is talking out of his arse :)

yeah i would have used one of those but i kind of ended up with PNY by accident and wasnt planning on using it and it was a good price since new egg dont go to the uk and i had to use my amazon.com gift cert to buy it and there international shipping section can be quite limited when it comes to electronics, i wanted something like ripjaws but they wont ship it.
so it's good to know it will prob work, if not it has a lifetime warranty so i'll try to return it.
