trojan wimad !! what is it?

When i am using my computer i keep getting boxes xcoming up on my screen saying a virus alert been found on your computer norton antivirus has detected a virus and removed it.So i click the box to ok.But it keeps poping up all the time.How do i stop this.Its driving me mad tHE VIRUS IS TROJAN WIMAD.iF its removed it why does it keep poping back up

Download lavasoft adaware, free edition. Install it, and download updates for it.

Then, download and install AVG free edition. Download updates for it.

Now, disconnect from the internet, then run both. Not at the same time though, but one after the other.

Download Avast! antivirus and do all the updates. From my experiences with the two it is better than AVG. Reboot into Safe Mode and do a scan/removal. Should take care of it.
