Possable HD trouble

I need a good Hard Drive diagnostic tool for a Dell Inspiron 600M. I's running slow but it dose not look like a major spyware or virus problem.


Edit: LOL, now that I looked it just about every file that could be fragmented is. However I'm not the first one to look at it so just to be safe I still would like to test it.

The place to get hard drive diagnostic utilities is directly from the manufacturer. With a Western Digital drive you would download the WD LifeGuard utilities. Each make has their own. There are other types of freeware as well as shareware programs ready for download at various sites. Diskeeper Lite along with several others can be looked over at http://208.101.7.150/downloads8.html
