Suggestions are more than welcome. Also this build according to tigerdirect only will come out to $1,680 thats with 2 GPU's. But that will not come right away so $1449.92. That's a bit more than I would like to spend but in the end this is the build I want to be able to obtain in the future. Suggestions about cheaper solutions that are upgradable are welcome also.

why are you buying a mobile hdd, they cost more than normal drives and have no benefits since the case is made for the bigger ones

will also need a os disk, and like above, the 2500k is just as powerful in games and costs less

i'll put something together for you, but i like newegg more, any reason you prefer tiger?

Wow thanks everyone for posting. This is going to help me out sooooo much. I just got home from work so ill check in to all these right now. Then I get to fix my laptop so I can sell it lol.

Ohh, and I will be doing some gaming probably Crysis 2 and WoW, along with using Autodesk Maya 3d's Max and Solid Works for work.

FYI. OCZ SSD is $10.00 cheaper on tigerdirect (and in the past I just used tigerdirect for research and what not didn't but much, never a whole computer, so that's why I turned there first)

For those applications previously listed Crysis 2, WoW, Solidworks, Autodesk Maya 3d's Max would anyone suggest AMD or Intel CPU?

intel is faster, amd is only better on budgets currently, but they do have a new cpu line coming out this month almost deffinitly, but we can't say they will be better or worse, but from what i'v seen i think they should about equal or outperform, but for how long they've been out of the game, it might be too long of a shot for them to come this far forward that fast.

Thanks for the info, I have determined I will go with intel BUT my main goal in this whole new rig is upgrade"ability", I have not been able to find a LG 1155 (which would let me use i7 CPU) with Dual SLI 16x16 for a reasonable price anyone have any that they know of I have been searching on newegg and tigerdirect and couldn't find any.

x16/x16 is unneeded, x8/x8 still allows your cards to function at full speed from what i've read, but then idk why they make the x16, and btw upgrading to an i7 is pointless since nothing uses them and next year you will have the ability to update bios and run an ivy-bridge i5

kk good to know jonny, btw not a spammer just been a while usually drink a few while im at the computer lol, get a little chatty
