Possible Technique to Help Foil Keyloggers?

I know keyloggers can be used to gather valuable data from a computer. I have been using this technique and wonder if it would foil malicious software from getting my passwords.

When I type in my password I use the on-screen keyboard to type in the password. Would this foil a keylogger from gathering my password since I am not using the keyboard?

It is probably is not good to use this technique if there is the possibility of others watching you type in your password with the the on-screen keyboard.

(And yes I know anti-malicious software is a line of defense against keyloggers. I was just wondering if this technique is another possible way to combat keyloggers.)

I have heard that on screen keyboards is a way around keyloggers but not sure if they have found a way to include OSK's in keyloggers yet.

If i thought i had a key logger i would be on the hunt to find and fix it.
Never the less my suggestion is use a virtual keyboard. I have one with Kaspersky Internet Security and built into windows. At least its on Win7 pro.
hit 'F1' and type it in. I doubt if its being tracked. I have used for passwords and always credit cards on line.
