possible to hook up TV to desktop PC?

u mean so your PC is shown on your T.V then yea.
if it is a normal T.V u can use a s-video cable but it is blurry acepped for movies are clear.
if it is a plasma or LCD u can just use a DVI cable

you can get an svideo to svideo cable and if you want sound a headphone to red and white cable. I hook my laptop up to my tv that way and extend my desktop over. Hope thats what ya want.

yea that's what i want to do. I have some movies on my computer that i would like to watch on the TV. The TV I was going to use is just a 30 inch flat screen. It's not an LCD or anything. It does have video inputs on the front of it. I also have a 36 inch HD. I looked on the back of my computer and I guess I don't really see where I can plug much in. My computer doesn't have an S video so where could I hook it up at? thanks

Consider upgrading your graphics card if you plan on doing this.

Also... I think you "need" S-Video for this to work

Some TV's have VGA ports on them (like mine for example.) All you would need is a VGA - VGA cable.

i hooked my vid card to a tv and with an s-video cable that came with my gfx card it was so blurry i couldnt read it but it came with an adapter for a yellow input(video) green input (y) blue input (Pb) and red (Pr) so if i got the cables for that would it be more clear then the s-video cable?
