The good ol' fake desktop, Hide your mouse, press 'prt scr' (above 'insert') then save image in paint, Right click on desktop > Arrange Icons By > Uncheck show desktop Icons.

Now set that picture you saved in paint as your background, viola. (sp?)

My brothers friend did that fake desktop to me...Scared the crap out of me. it was around the same time I was having some bad overheating, so I thought my computer was like dying...Man, it got my heart pumping.

My computer is a few years old, so it is kind of cluttered. Sometimes my page file memory runs up super high (with nothing running), so I have to go to task manager and end explorer.exe. I reload it and all my memory is dumped, the computer runs much faster after that :) I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else though. Here's a pic I happen to have saved:

its a restart command

i think a neat tick is mapping a caps lock key to shirt, preventing those annoying times when you know caps lock on

create a .reg file and put this in it,
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
"Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,02,00,00,00,2a,00,3a,00,00,00,00,00
then double click, and press yes ;)

press ctrl+alt+del twice at the windows login screen and it brings you to the windows classic login, then you can sign in as administrator if you have the password, or if it doesn't have one
