Mine is 2.615Ghz that I am using right now. It was at 1.8Ghz previously (A64 3000+ Venice). Current temp at idle 31 Celsius ;)

New...

Now got pure 2.7Ghz by 300Mhz x 9 :) DDR at 225Mhz. Temps basically at 29 Celsius idle and max 40 under load. What do you think? Should I go higher? CAN I go higher? I am tempted to get to like 311Mhz to get to 2.8Ghz and get a 1000Mhz OC. This current setting works fine with SuperPI and stuff which I have used to test stability. It did not like 1.525V though...so had to up it to 1.55.

Nice OC. You should be good up to 1.65 V just for benching... 24/7 I wouldnt do that lol.

My chip is really bad and is holding back my rig at overclocking. I need 1.610 V to get it stable at 2.6 Ghz :(. I want to hunt down a good opty but its either that or a new monitor. What do you guys think.

Why is it holding your PC back? ....I've just ordered that CPU :(

You guys are lucky, i couldnt get past 2.25Ghz, and it was 2Ghz stock :(

Im not sure if its my RAM or Motherboard... If it was a problem with the ram, shouldnt the computer at least get to post?

i got my 2.2GHz 4000+ up to 3GHz stable, then my mobo died (WHICH IT CAME BACK TODAY!!! W000000000T!) via only FSB Increasements (2500MHz when i was done :P

i can't OC mine that far cause i dont have a agp/pci lock...lol, at least not a working one, whenever i enable it, the comp doesn't post. yeah, i'll try again today but i'm not expecting much past 2.1ghz from 1.8

It is currently at 2.5 Ghz, but currently am without an OS, and am looking to get another .1 out of it. It is running at 38C. How did you get it to 31:eek: ? What cooler do you have?

Mobo dude, Chaintech's aren't strong in the overclocking field. Your RAM shouldn't hold you back at all, even if it was stock you could run a divider and push the board.

My highest OC was 2.8Ghz but was too unstable to use, my highest decently stable one was 2.7Ghz. Whehn I get my new OCZ RAM, I will try to go as high as possible.

stable RAM is just as important when POSTing as a stable CPU. My valueselect RAM will force me to reset CMOS if i OC it too high (anything over 216 Mhz)...

That means more vDimm :)
