Power consumption

I want to buy a new graphics card because my current one (8400GS) is WEAK! I want the HD 5830 because it appears to be good.
I just want to know:
1. Is it a descent gaming card (E5200 processor, 2gb ram) ?
2. How do I know if my computer can handle the power input of the card?

I don't know what brand is it. Is there any way of finding it out without opening my computer.
I don't expect to run crysis 2 on maximum graphics. But maybe high settings.

Is the Dual Core E5200 a tad higher than minimum for Crysis 2. Which I think is Core 2 Duo E4600 Core Duo?

Unfortunately not its easy though just open the case and tell us what wattage it is, it should be in large numbers.
