Power core

My new laptop i can sit there and do it all day long and not fry anything, but my 4 year old hp doesnt exactly act the same way...if you plug the cord into it while it is one it will just freeze and hang there...ironically it did that after the warrantee expired...no big deal tho because i pretty much always used it plugged in any way but it is a hassle and i did lose several papers. once i lost a 20 page report because i just sat down and wrote it and didnt think about saving it because i wasnt going to stop...its the way i write most of my first drafts or else i cant get my thoughts out after i stop without rereading it like a million times...but anyways ya newer laptops shouldnt have any issues...but if your working on something i definitely suggest you save it before you try to plug it in just in case
