Power cut to PC = Oh Oh

Hi,
My mum was fiddling with the fuse box earlier today, and ended up turning off power to the whole house.... The problem... My computer was on, and I was using it

So she turned the power back on, I told her to warn me before she turns off the power again. 30 seconds later, just as the computer is posting, she does it again

Thankfully, I havent lost any data, BUT, now theres a problem.

Im gettin random restarts. No BSOD, just everything stops working, then it restarts. Ive done memtest and chkdsk, nothing has come up.

Any suggestions to fix this?

EDIT: Should mention, im running XP Pro SP2. Cheers

Like mentioned above, it sounds as though the power supply is likely damaged, modern ATX supplies do not take any kind of surging very well, because they have more electronically regulated circuits than their AT counterparts.

Luckily, it's typically very cheap and easy to replace.

How much it costs to replace depends on the physical form factor of the supply that fits the case, how many pins are on the connection to the motherboard, and whether or not it has an extra 4 pin connector near the processor.
