Hey forum,

howsabeen?
ok gotta question, now that i have gotten the most out of my current system i am looking to upgrade to the legendary SLI setup.

And where best than to start at the source?
Question about this PSU, Good, Bad, Keep looking..? and that'll fit in a ATX case right? just checking
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817101208

Im thinking it will function well and im likin that "use only the cables you need" deal. so maybe i can get better airflow through my system. (79.7*F with 5 fans idle.blah)

So hit me back, or not .... and i'll spend my money ANYWAY!!! ha ha ha.... oh right:D

Peace

Personally I'd be looking for a 600/650w PSU but I think that might do, remember you've got A LOT of graphics power in SLI so my best bet would be going for a 600/650 maybe even 700w PSU.

Havent you been here long enough to know that watts arent everything :P

That one has 38 amps on the +12 V line which should be enough for SLI.

thats exactally watt i was thinking. bc i was perusing newegg and saw some 600w psu that only had 34 and 30 amps on the +12 v side. just a thought. anyone here running SLI? and may i ask what psu ya gots?

Thanks guys

I'm not running SLI, but that power supply should be fine. Particularly given that it's SLI certified.
