i am moving to usa tomorrow and i'd like to know if europe's compaq armada e500 will also work in usa? is it possible and how?

You have 110 V in the US and about 220-230 in Europe.

i know we have 220V here and 110V in usa, that's the problem. but how much does adapter cost? and can anyone reccomend a cheap hard drive for laptop, the one it has right now is broken.
