So just yesturday I decided to try out one of my Pc's on the Tv so I bought all the nessicary gear plugged it all in and it worked great. However I go to use my computer this morning, I press the power buttonn It turns on but everything is much much louder then usual all my fans are running at 2twice there normal speeds? and the power supply in perticular was very loud, it seemed like it was struggling to give out power. No image will come up on the TV and I know all the cables are right, so I conected back into the monitor and the same thing! the longer I leave the PC on the louder and faster everything got. So i turned it off again then back on this time the Psu started to fizz? I checked that everything was connected it all seemed to be.

Any Ideas?

Oh this happened to the computer in my signature (it isn't more then 5 months old )

What do you mean the PSU started to fizz? It sounds like you may have a bad capacitor...the increased fan speeds may or may not be related..it could be because the PSU was either heating up the case or was outputting more voltage than it should hence heating up the components it power more, and the HSF on the hotter-than-normal parts are kicking up the speeds to compensate. You wouldn't by any chance have another PSU you could through in there, do you?

Never mind. I discovered the problem, I had a bad power cable it turns out that the psu it self was not getting enough power hence the strange "fizz" i was explaining so it wasn't actually giving power to anything but the fans this is why the increased speeds.
