is there maybe a convert to a regular household plug or car adaptor or something? mighty kool to have some of those laser lights other than in the computer.

some of the laser lites use only a 12v connection. check the lights for power spects. If the are you can hard wire them in to a car with no problems. in a house you need to get a transforer that convers 110v ac to 12v dc like radio shack 12v power converter.

But beware: a car's battery supplies more amps than a regular ac/dc converter plugged in a household plug. You may need to put a resistor before that light if planning to use it in a car.

hardwire? i'm not a soldnerer if thats what you mean. the transformer from radioshack has a slot to plug in the powreplugs and then the other end to the house plug or car or you have to hardwire too?

1. Dont all use 12v?
2. "only" 12V?? Outside of the mobo feed thats the most you'll find in a digital system

You prolly dont need to solder ... you can always strip and splice :)
