Hello, My work pc just did an update and on restart, it wont boot up. It shows the starting window xp page but then goes into power save mode and i cant get anywhere.
Sounds like your power saving settings in your BIOS are not configured properly, have they been recently changed?. You can try logging into your BIOS to reconfigured them or if that is not possible, reset the settings to default using one of the following guides:
While the computer's booting, press F8 (like going to safe mode). On the menu, select "Enable VGA Mode". See if you're computer will boot like this. If so, reset the resolution to what you normally use and see if the problem persists.
