Power Saving Features.

When I ran WMWare, it reported my laptop as having a 2.2GHz CPU, but the effective speed is 1.7GHz due to some "power saving features". How do I disable the CPU power-saving features so that my CPU runs at true speed?

try looking in the windows control panel, you might have to search alittle though.

oh yeh i forgot about those, definetly check the BIOS.

it's not there. the feature is called cool and quiet on amd procs
