power settings on laptop

ok i have asus eee pc 1000hd model with windows xp on it and it has the power settings obviously. but on those settings is there anyway u can edit those more in depth like windows vista cuz that would be awesome if you can how so ?

You mean like for turning off the screen, hard disk, and standby time and whatnot? It's under the power settings under the screensaver tab of the properties window.

ty for that i was looking for more advanced options than that because in vista on my other laptop u can turn the wireless to max power saving and video card to max power saving, after so much of the battery is gone it would turn off all non critcal things like usb and other stuff like that. i mean turning off the hard drive and monitor is great but not rly wat i was looking for

is there any program or anything that would allow me to access these options

Well sorry, but XP is not Vista.

I don't know of a program that can do that.
